Once you’ve customized your pop-up form’s design, fields, and triggers, it’s time to get your form up and running on your website. This guide will help you through the process of publishing your pop-up form to Shopify.
NOTE: You’ll need website admin or editor access as you will need to edit your site's code base.
If you’re not sure how to access your website’s code, you may need to consult your website software’s support documentation or your teammate who set up your website.
Have the Signup Form Code Ready
To find the DojoMojo pop-up form code, head to the Install section in the Form Builder. Keep your code handy in a separate window or copy the code to your clipboard.
Copy and Paste Your Code to Your Shopify Website
- Log into Shopify, and navigate to your Online Store in the left menu. Go to your store’s Themes.
- Under Live Theme, find Actions and select Edit Code.
- Open the “theme.liquid” file. Then, paste the DojoMojo pop-up form code directly above the closing </head> tag.
NOTE: This method will launch the pop-up form to all of your website visitors, no matter which page they landed on first (e.g. the homepage, a specific product page, etc). Learn how to install the pop-up on specific pages.
- Hit Save.
You should now be able to test the new DojoMojo pop-up by visiting your website's homepage. Pop-up forms are cookie-based and are designed to display only to first-time website visitors.
To test your pop-up multiple times, we recommend using a fresh Incognito browser session for each test.
