Opportunities are a chance for your brand to plan different kinds of partnerships. Brands can post an Opportunity to let other brand know they are interested in a specific partnership opportunity like content swaps, dedicated ad buys and sales, and subscription box inserts. This is a great way to grow your audience and expand your marketing strategy at a low cost.
Follow these steps to add an Opportunity so that other brands can respond to your partnership needs
- Click on My Partnerships on the top Nav
- Select Opportunities from the toggle on the left hand of the screen once you’ve navigated to that page.
- Click on Create Opportunity to bring up a screen where you can enter info about the opportunity you would like to create.
You’ll have the chance on this screen to enter everything you want other brands to know about your opportunity. You can let brands know what kind of partnership you’re looking to start, as well as all the relevant details they might need. Here are a few tips as you’re filling this out:
- Be specific. Offer as many details as possible so you get the best applicants for your partnership opportunity.
- Catchy headlines are important. Give some appealing info in your headline so you can draw in more applicants.
Once you’ve entered in all the information you’d like to, click Post to make your Opportunity go live!
Once brands respond to your Opportunity, you’ll be able to view their messages in your messaging portal. You can respond to them there and plan future partnerships.
Edit/Delete an opportunity
To delete an Opportunity:
- Click on My Partnerships on the top Nav
- Select Opportunities from the toggle on the left hand of the screen once you’ve navigated to that page.
- Find the Opportunity you would like delete. Open the card and click Delete.
Note once deleted, Opportunities can’t be restored.
To edit an opportunity:
To edit your Opportunity, select Edit, which will bring up the same screen you initially entered info into. Change any information you need to and then press save to update the posting.
Responding to an Opportunity
Follow these respond to any Opportunities that you are interested in.
- Click on Explore on the top Nav
- Select Opportunities from the toggle on the left hand of the screen once you’ve navigated to that page.
- Browse Opportunities to find ones you are interested in. You can also search Opportunities by name using the search bar or use the filters on the right side of the page to find the Opportunities that work best for your brand.
- Once you’ve decided which Opportunity you’d like to respond to, click that Opportunity’s card to learn more.
- This will bring up a window where you can view more information and navigate to their Brand Profile if you want to learn more.
- To message the brand about the Opportunity, click Message on the bottom right corner of the window.
This will bring up a messaging pop-up where you craft a message to the brand you would like to work with. Here are a few tips to ensure you work the partners you want to:
- Explain in detail what you have to offer. Don’t be vague but instead let the brand know exactly what you have to offer them.
- Don’t assume they know who you are. Include any relevant info about your company. Stats like pageviews, list size, and number of subscription customers are important if they apply to your company.
- Give concrete dates. Brands are more likely to work with you if you let them know when you are available for partnerships.
