Yeah, it's cool... but what do Partners do?
Partner brands promote the campaign to their audience and contribute prizing for the winner. In return, they receive the email addresses of everyone who agrees to share their email address with you when they enter the sweepstakes.
As a Partner, you'll be led by a Host brand, who is responsible for creating the landing page, selecting the Partner brands, managing the promotions, selecting a winner and confirming prizing.
It's free to be a Partner on DojoMojo with our Basic plan, but Essential and Premium users will have access to more powerful features.
What makes someone a great Partner?
The key to being a great partner is clearly communicating with your host to make sure that expectations around promotional efforts are aligned.
To help ensure everyone has a positive experience, we ask everyone to complete a Partnership Agreement before officially joining a campaign. Committing up front to when and how you’ll share the sweepstakes, and what prizing you’ll contribute makes for a more transparent and easy experience for all Partners.
Most partnership marketing mishaps are a result of poor communication between partners. To prevent this, always over-communicate to make absolutely sure that all parties understand expectations of one another before the campaign begins. Waiting until the campaign is over to communicate is a surefire way to build bad relationships.
Why should I be a sweepstakes Partner?
Partner brands receive a number of benefits from participation in a giveaway campaign, chiefly the ability to acquire high-quality email leads from brands with overlapping demographics. While Hosts retain control of the campaign in exchange for their efforts, Partners benefit from saving the time it takes to manage campaigns and still reap the benefits of growing their audience.
Participating brands also receive massive exposure, as the average giveaway campaign landing page - which prominently features the logos of all brands participating in the campaign - will garner tens of thousands of impressions.
Essential and Premium plan brands have access to Social Growth bonus entries, even if they are just participants in the campaign (though the Host retains final control over which Social options appear in the campaign, and in what order).
What am I agreeing to do?
As a Partner, you have several important responsibilities. You’re on the hook for creating your own unique tracking links and scheduling your promotional activities across various channels.
