What is Social Growth?
Immediately after entering the giveaway, entrants are presented one more way to get bonus entries. These essentially offer entrants extra chances to win in exchange for following and sharing your social media account on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube, or for downloading an app.
Taking advantage of Social Growth is an added bonus at no extra cost for Essential and Premium brands. By adding your social media accounts to the confirmation page, you are able to drive traffic to your social media pages and grow brand awareness (and your number of followers) among a highly targeted demographic.
They appear directly below the CTA ad, as shown below.
Who can use it?
Hosts can offer Social Sharing to other Essential or Premium user partners or use them solely for their own brand. Hosts decide which final items appear in a list and in what order.
Essential Plan users can add up to 3 social actions per campaigns.
Premium Plan users can add unlimited actions.
Basic users are not able to use Social Sharing.
Setting up Social Growth
Select your Social Actions
In the Campaign Manager open the Customize tab and navigate to Social Growth. You’ll see a number of social actions you can take to incentivize users.
Select the Social Sharing option you’d like to add:
- Like a brand’s page on Facebook
- Share a post or article on Facebook
- Follow a brand on Instagram
- Follow a Twitter account
- Subscribe to a YouTube channel
- Watch a video on YouTube
- Follow a brand on Pinterest
- Pin on Pinterest
- Share on Snapchat
- Download an app
- Share with Friends - this generates a referral link for the entrant to share with friends. When friends enter the giveaway, the entrant receives the allocated number of bonus entries.
For this example, we’ll use an Instagram follow. Click Follow on Instagram to start editing.
Add your Social Info
Fill out the requested information, including your Instagram handle and the number of bonus entries you want to award for this action (disclaimer: for legal reasons, Facebook does not permit adding entries for sharing a post).
You do not need to add your "@" to the handle.
Click Save. You'll now see the action in a list.
Launch Preview to preview the pop up that will show over the landing page. The dates will populate automatically once you've launched your campaign.
To change the order in which Social Sharing features are displayed, simply drag and drop the different options in the order you'd like them to appear.
