Complete Your Brand Profile: A Checklist
Just like on LinkedIn and other social media platforms, you want your profile to look complete, shiny, and new. Follow this checklist to ensure you put your best foot forward on DojoMojo by completing your Brand Profile and show off everything your brand has to offer.
Completing your Brand Profile is a crucial step that will help other brands find you and start partnerships. If they can view more information about your brand, they'll be more likely to view you as a trustworthy for partnerships in the future.
Keep in mind you can edit your brand profile at any time.
1. Add Logo
Adding your logo serves two important purposes.
First, it will show other brands that you are ready to join in on a partnership. Adding your logo will give potential partners an idea of what your brand is and what your core product is. In the Explore section, brands can see your name and logo.
Second, your logo will be automatically pulled into any giveaway you are a part of (see example below). Because this image will be seen by potentially millions of unique subscribers, ensure it is high resolution and has the right dimensions.
Logos should be PNGs or JPGs, be square with a 1:1 aspect ratio, and be at least 200 x 200px.
Navigate Here:
Go to your logo in the top right corner of your screen > Click "View Profile" > Go over to your logo (which is, by default, a shadow of Mojo's head) > Hover over the top right hand corner of the square and click the pencil > Click the "Change" sign to search your files > Add in your logo
2. Add Cover Photo
With similar logic to adding a logo, add your cover photo to give other brands an idea of your branding aesthetic, as well as the products/services you offer.
Navigate Here:
Go to your logo in the top right corner of your screen > Click "View Profile" > Go over to your cover photo (it will be blank by default) > Hover over the top right hand corner of the rectangle and click the pencil > Add in a photo of your choice
3. Add List Size
Your list size is one of the most important factors in deciding if a partnership will be equitable. You'll want to make sure you work with brands who have a similar list size to you. Make sure you add in an accurate list size, obtaining this information from your Email Service Provider (ESP) or personal knowledge.
Important: If you have a segment of your list to which you know that you will not promote a giveaway or other partnership marketing opportunity, do not include them in your list. For example, if your list is 100,000 and you only plan to promote marketing materials to 75,000, then you should add your list size as 75,000.
Tip: This will not update as you obtain more emails. Do this manually from time to time to keep your profile accurate and up to date.
Navigate Here:
Go to your logo in the top right corner of your screen > Click "View Profile" > Go over to Audience Size > Hover over the top right hand corner of the square and click the pencil > Add in your list size.
4. Complete "About"
This is one of the most important aspects of your profile, as this is where you can explain what you do and why you do it. Explain your target audience, your mission statement, and anything else that other brands might find important when deciding to work with you. Ensure your URL is accurate (you will have entered it when initially signing up) as you want to be sure partners can easily re-direct to your site.
Important: The industry tags you select will allow your brand to be found when others on the platform use the filters on the righthand side of the Explore section (see image below).
Navigate Here:
Go to your logo in the top right corner of your screen > Click "View Profile" > Go over to your "About" section > Hover over the top right hand corner of the rectangle and click the pencil > Add information about 'who' your brand is.
5. Complete "Interested In"
DojoMojo is more than just sweepstakes, rather a marketplace for all partnership marketing. Ensure you are getting the most out of the platform by letting all brands know which partnerships your brand is interested in partnering on.
Tip: Fill out more metrics about what your brand can drive in terms of entries / clicks, to give a more complete and picture to brands who may be interested in working with you (see gif below!)
Navigate Here:
Go to your logo in the top right corner of your screen > Click "View Profile" > Go to Partnerships section > Go to the box that says "We're interested in partnerships for..." > Hover over the pencil in the top righthand corner > Fill out partnership marketing opportunities you would be interested in pursuing.
Go a step further and fill out your brand's metrics, if you know them, regarding CTR, Target Audience, List Size, Open Rate, etc. to give a clear depiction of your brand's power in a partnership. See below for a quick tutorial.
6. Add Social Handles
Give other brands an idea of your social following, as this is another important metric in deciding how/why to partner with one another.
Additionally, entering in your social handles allows DojoMojo to track how well your social promotions perform on giveaways and how many new emails you are driving for any campaign you are participating in. It also shows other brands how large your social reach is.
Similar to list size, you may want to factor in social following to ensure equitable partnership. This metric will not automatically update as you gain followers through DojoMojo, so you will have to do this manually.
As you enter your handle, it will pre-populate with your social following numbers. Ensure your handle is correct, and that you do not include the '@' sign.
Navigate Here:
Go to your logo in the top right corner of your screen > Click "View Profile" > Go to Social Following > Hover over the pencil in the top righthand corner > Fill out your social media information.
Other Aspects of Your Brand Profile
Brand Rating, Demographic Data, and Average Entries
Once you've completed campaigns, you will notice some changes to your brand profile.
Primarily, data will start to appear in the middle of your brand profile. DojoMojo will collect and report demographic data about your audience based on campaign entrants, as well as information about your past campaign performance.
Additionally, the "Average ('Avg') Entries" field will become populated. Estimated entries are calculated by DojoMojo and cannot be edited by the user. DojoMojo calculates this metric by averaging the entries a brand has generated from their three most recent giveaways. If a brand has only completed one or two campaigns, it will take the average of those. This number is updated on each Sunday.
Finally, you may see a brand rating appear. The host and your partners have the ability to rate your brand in terms of how awesome you were as a partner (don't worry, you're also able to rate your partners as well)!
